Dori 485RS Rough Grasscutter Lawnmower - Reviews

'The Dori 485RS mower will make short work of rough grass areas.'

Designed for heavy duty use the Dori 485RS mower will make short work of rough grass areas. This 21in mower features a powerful Briggs and Stratton 5.5hp 4-stroke engine that drives the back wheels. This is a more conventional mower and its special features include crankshaft protection and folding handlebars for easy storage, it also has a hinged side discharge chute. The Dori 485RS rough Grasscutter is designed for people, who prefer to have the extra stability of four wheels, and is built to the same specification as the 460EP with an extra fixed wheel attached to the front of the deck. The Dori is a reliable and economical Grasscutter and comes with a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty.

We always welcome your reviews of all makes and models of lawnmowers including electric lawnmowers and petrol lawnmowers. Our visitors welcome your fair, independent reviews of ride-on lawnmowers and tractors plus reviews of sit-on lawn mowers. When choosing a lawnmower you should understand that there are two main types of cutting mechanisms in use. Rotary lawnmowers have blades that spin horizontally which cuts the lawn by striking the grass at high speed. Reel lawnmowers have a set of spiral-cylindrical blades spinning on a horizontal axis and gives a good grass cutting action even when the lawn mower is moving slowly. Rotary lawnmowers do not cut the grass as cleanly as cylinder-type reel lawn mowers and manual lawn mowers. Many lawn mowers are height adjustable so the lawn mower can be adjusted to control the height of the cut grass..
